Meet the Board of Directors
Executive Director: Sister Yvette Mallow
Sr. Yvette, Benedictine nun and Mother Superior, is our founder, grant writer, historian, fund-raiser, and spiritual guide for our endeavors.
President: Bill Lehtinen
Bill, a retired construction/operations manager, works collaboratively with board members to plan and guide activities in support of the Refuge of Mercy.
Vice President: Dennis Lehtinen
Dennis, a construction/operations manager and owner of a construction company, manages the extensive Refuge renovation projects.
Treasurer: Mary Trykoski
Mary, an accountant, keeps our financial transactions in order.
Secretary; Kay Morison
Kay, a psychologist, takes the minutes and edits text for our website.
Board Member: Tom Fritz
Tom, a lawyer, offers legal advice.
Board Member: Donald Gregory
Donald, a Christian, an information technology professional, and former treasurer for our board, uses his organizational talents to keep us focused on our mission and goals.
Board Member: Michael Roybal
Michael, our former president, vice president, secretary, and the developer of our first websites, continues to advise the board.
Board Member: Kathi Swarthout
Kathi, a real estate agent, organizes fund-raising activities
Associate Board Member: Chris Gaines
Chris, our former Secretary, continues to participate in fund-raising efforts and community outreach.
Web Administrator: Carole Wilson
Carole, a personnel manager, uses her technical expertise to manage the web site.
