My name is Sister Yvette Mallow. I am a Benedictine Sister from St. Martin Monastery in Rapid City, SD.
In 1972 I met Sister Maria Gloria, a Sister of the Congregation of Most Merciful Love, (Congregación Amor Misericordioso) at college. Twenty years later I had the opportunity to go to Chile for the first time. I was impressed with the work of these Sisters in their Refuge of Mercy, a refuge for Adolescent mothers.
In the interviening years many support missions have taken place and The Merciful Love Connection was born. It is truly inspiring that there are people here who are also interested in helping young mothers and their children who live in a foreign land.
